Xertified

About Xertified

We develop protection for industrial equipment

Xertified AB develops XoT. XoT protects industrial equipment and provides controlled remote access to it. We have offices in Stockholm and Uppsala.

Our choices

Three choices that shape XoT

The protection sits close to the equipment

The Lock is installed next to the equipment it protects. That means it also protects against traffic from inside the network.

Identity instead of passwords

Every user and every device has its own digital certificate. XoT uses no passwords.

Proven encryption

We have not developed an encryption method of our own. The encryption comes from WireGuard, a well-known technology for encrypted connections.

The patent

All 15 patent claims were granted

We filed the patent application in October 2019. The European Patent Office granted all 15 patent claims on 24 August 2021.

Review

Reviewed and tested

We cannot properly review our own security product on our own. That is why we have had others test XoT.

Secure development

Development is based on Microsoft SDL and follows the practices in IEC 62443-4-1.

Tested against attacks

Our partners penetration-test XoT. The reports are available on request under an NDA.

We have also written a white paper together with Cytiva Testa Center. Testa Center itself uses XoT to protect its machines.

How we work

What you can expect from us

  • We tell you what XoT does not do. We keep a list of what XoT does not do, and we keep it up to date.
  • We do not use made-up figures. We only publish figures on reduced risk when we can show where they come from.
  • You buy through our resellers. Ask your reseller about installation.
  • We are happy to start with one machine. That costs you less and shows you more than a presentation.
