Jämtkraft takes the lead in digitalization of the power industry

Jämtkraft leads the digitalization of the energy production industry by securing the network, the equipment and the communication with the help of Xertified’s XoT solution that is centered around secure digital identities for man and machine. This means that only communication with verified accesses and good integrity can be established within the networks.

“Our business is critical to society, which entails securing the supply of electricity to hospitals, airport, banks, industries and society in general. As all our production becomes connected, we need to ensure that no breaches take place and that our production and energy distribution stays unaffected from external tampering” says Sandra de Brito, CIO at Jämtkraft.

“We are very proud of the trust shown in our solution by Jämtkraft and our close collaboration will result in significant knowledge and insights valuable for both parties with regards to cybersecurity for mission critical infrastructure. Together with us, they are in the forefront of digitalization and security by being the world’s first energy company to implement zero trust, dedicated access control and full encryption” says Martin Eriksson, CEO at Xertified.
